Philip J Roberts BSc MRICS, Senior Partner

Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987, Philip initially trained with the Inland Revenue's District Valuer's office in Taunton, before joining Palmer Snell in 1988. During his career he has worked in Bristol, Weston Super Mare, Taunton and Yeovil.

His specialist areas include property valuation, rent reviews, lease renewals, tax valuations, business rates appeals and expert witness work. Clients include the High Street banks, pension funds, local and regional developers/investors, solicitors and accountants. Philip has also provided expert advice at County and High Court level, and latterly for the Supreme Court of South Australia.

 Tim J Wright FRICS, Partner

Tim entered the profession in 1985. He worked for James & Sons in Poole (where he still resides) for 15 years before joining Palmer Snell in 2000, and heading up their former Weymouth commercial operation. With an intimate knowledge of the Dorset and Somerset agency market, Tim specialises principally in commercial agency, property acquisition, rent reviews, lease renewals and valuations.

 David J MacLauchlan BSc (Hons) MRICS, Partner

Having gained considerable residential agency experience with David Lacey's of Yeovil, David joined the Valuation Office Agency's Exeter office in 2003, and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2005. Following posts in Dorchester, Taunton and Yeovil, David joined the Partnership in 2007. His specialist areas include HomeBuyer Reports, pre-acquisition/disposal appraisals, SIPP valuations, tax valuations, secured lending valuations, and commercial estate agency.

 Jeffrey T White BSc (Hons) MRICS, Dip HI, Partner

Jeff entered the profession in 1989, having initially trained with the Inland Revenue's District Valuer's offices in Exeter and Taunton. Jeff then joined Palmer Snell and eventually headed up their Central and Southern survey operations.

Whilst having a truly multi-disciplined background, including expert witness work, Jeff has focused on providing condition survey advice over the past decade or so. Widely respected for his expert knowledge of property related defects, and his positive approach to problem solving, Jeff is routinely recommended to both private and corporate clients by his peers within the property profession, particularly solicitors and estate agents.

  Susan Chambers FRICS, IRRV

Sue Chambers enjoys a formidable reputation within the licensed property sector of the property market. Having originally qualified as a teacher Sue changed career to become a Chartered Surveyor gaining membership in 1979. Sue has operated throughout SW England and S Wales whilst employed by Palmer Snell, latterly Palmer Snell Fulfords. Sue joined RMW Surveyors as a consultant in 2007. Specialist areas include licensed property business rates appeals, landlord and tenant matters and tax valuations. Sue continues to practice from her base in Bristol.
